Analytics

To improve our website, we collect and store data for statistical and optimization purposes. All data is anonymized and aggregated. No personal data or personally identifiable information is stored.

Hosting

Our hosters collects the following data transmitted by your browser in so-called log files: IP address, the address of the previously visited website (referer request header), date and time of the request, time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time, content of the request, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, website from which the request came and information about the browser and operating system. This is necessary to display our website and to ensure stability and security. This corresponds to our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

This is in line with our legitimate interest as defined by Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR, so that we don't have to maintain our own server on our premises. The server location is the USA. We use the Content Delivery Network (CDN) provided by Cloudflare to enhance the security and delivery speed of our website. This aligns with our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). A CDN is a network of globally distributed servers capable of delivering optimized content to website users. For this purpose, personal data may be processed in Cloudflare's server log files. Cloudflare acts as a recipient of your personal data and serves as a processor on our behalf. This is also in line with our legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1, sentence 1, lit. f GDPR, as it allows us to not operate a CDN ourselves.
